C.L. Bryant: Host and Original Concept
A licensed and ordained Baptist minister for more than 30 years, Rev. C.L. Bryant takes moviegoers on an incredible journey through history and current events in the new documentary RUNAWAY SLAVE. Rev. Bryant is a highly sought-after speaker, thanks to his unique insight on religious, political, and racial issues. A one-time NAACP chapter president (in Garland, Texas), Rev. Bryant now believes the values he once vehemently upheld have led the black community into a state of bondage at the hands of the U.S. government. He is a Tea Party Patriot, a charter member of the Red River Tea Party and the Shreveport/Bossier Tea Party, co-founder of the Desoto Parish Grassroots, founder of the national movement One Nation Back to God (www.onenationbacktoGod.com), and Fellow with Freedom Works Foundation in Washington, D.C. He has been married 36 years to the former Jane C. Pruitt and they have four children and eight grandchildren.
Pritchett Cotten: Director and Writer
Pritchett Cotten is an innovative, award-winning director, writer, and cinematographer. He has written and directed numerous narrative and documentary films, including Tea Party: The Documentary Film. Pritchett's creative cinematography has appeared in numerous venues including the Cannes Film Festival. As a cinematographer, his clients have included Coca Cola, Rubbermaid, Church's Chicken, Home Depot, and Chick-fil-A. He has shared his expertise as an instructor of film production at the Dozier Centre for the Performing Arts, and his photography has been featured in both print and on television. Executive producer Luke Livingston has a quarter-century of award-winning experience in broadcast and interactive communications. J. David Williams: Co-Executive Producer
J. David Williams is an executive producer and distribution executive with more than 25 years experience in the entertainment industry. Throughout his career he has successfully overseen the financing production and distribution of hundreds of feature films in the theatrical marketplace. His roles have included: President of Orion Pictures, President of Providence Entertainment, Chairman of Legacy Releasing, Vice President of Columbia Pictures, and Managing Director of Credit Lyonnais Bank N.A. His FilmCrest Corporation is an entertainment venture capital company specializing in production and prints-and-advertising financing. FilmCrest provided the initial P&A funds for Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ and Miramax's The Aviator, Shall We Dance, Finding Neverland, Mindhunters, and Hostage. Other iniatial P&A projects include Snakes on a Plane, Premonition, Defiance, and the first film in the hugely successful Twilight series. He served as Executive Producer of There Will Be Blood, which was nominated for eight Academy Awards.
